Q: What if i already have a membership, can i still renew online?
A: Yes. Since we do not store your information online you will follow the same process as a new member would, you can insert your member number in the customer fields to assist us in processing you renewal, but it is not necessary.
Q: How are the crews going to know i have a membership?
A: The crews will not need to know if you have a membership. Mutual Aid's in house business office personnel will determine your membership status.
Q: How many times can i use the ambulance each year?
A:You may use the ambulance as many times as necessary throughout the year for emergencies or non emergent transports.
Q: Why doesn't the membership cover van transports?
A: Due to the complex billing regulations that govern the billing of wheelchair transports the van service has never been covered under the membership. The membership only covers Ambulance transports.
Q: I lost my membership card, can i get a new one?
A:The membership cards are printed by a third party vendor, unfortunately we do not have extra cards. These are for your records only, no one from Mutual Aid will ever ask to see them.
Q: What does the membership include?
A: The membership will cover all emergency transports to the nearest hospital, non - emergent transports that are denied by your insurance carrier will be billed to you at a substantially reduced rate.
