Mutual Aid Ambulance Service

Serving Western Pennsylvania since 1968
"Service...That Others May Live"

The Assisted Medical Transport vans are a service that Mutual Aid has implemented to accommodate our clients who need more than just taxi or private vehicle transportation. Medicare and other insurance companies will not allow ambulance transportation to doctor's offices or similar destinations if the trip is not deemed medically necessary. This is where the A.M.T. vans can be a benefit to you. If you are a person who has difficulty getting in and out of a vehicle you will be happy to know that our vans are staffed by Emergency Medical Technicians who will assist you from inside your home to the inside of your destination. Appointments are preferred to be booked 24 hours in advance and  the cost is surprisingly affordable. Currently an A.M.T. trip costs $20.00 +  $2.00/mile after 10 miles. Long distance trips are available and must be reserved 24 hours in advance. Call (724) 834-4311 today to see if Assisted Medical Transport can make your next medical appointment an easier and more affordable experience.
