Surprising as it may seem, statistically there is one in four chance of
you needing an ambulance for a non-emergency transport and a one in
twelve chance that you need life saving care. Whatever may be good for
you is also good for your community. Mutual Aid has been in the
forefront in, not only providing the finest emergency and non-emergency
care (Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Service), but also in
disaster planning and bio-terrorism readiness. Mutual Aid is very
involved in meeting the communities' needs for training. We are able to
provide community education programs due to the depth of our
instructors. We are also able to offer a wide variety of programs. Our
instructors are certified instructors with the American Heart
Association, National Safety Council, Pennsylvania Department of Health,
and Pennsylvania Fire Academy. Mutual Aid is designated as a training
institute with the Department of health. this enables us to provide
interested individuals in obtaining state certifications in Emergency
